2011
In September 2011 Amwit Security, part of the Nauta Group, announces to have acquired the brand CashTester. With this step the Nauta Group strengthens and expands its position in the areas of cash processing, checking and physical security. Amwit Security guarantees continuity in the delivery of the CashTester program and in service and support.
 
2011

Amwit has over 30 years experience and specialises in the sale of safety devices for counterfeit money detection and cash handling in retail. In March 2011 the Nauta Group announced the acquisition of Amwit in Wormer (NL). Under a new company name Amwit Security continues from Barneveld (NL) where its product range is a perfect match with the existing Nauta-range security hardware and storage devices.

 
2010

Orgami Sistec takes over the production of the Lampertz data safes, including all rights, patents en licences. In Wallmenroth (Germany) a new production facility is established where the data safes are manufactured under the Sistec brand.

 
2009

Citysafe Wholesale Ltd. becomes part of the Nauta Group. Citysafe distributes safety products such as safes and locks in the U.K.

 
2008

Establishment of Nauta Belgiƫ BVBA in Mariakerke(BE) to extend the activities in the Netherlands.

 
2007

Themans hang- en sluitwerk, part of the Nauta Group, acquires the brand S2 - Safe & Secure - and all corresponding activities. With the S2 brand Themans increases its own product range consisting security fittings, locks and hinges.

 
2007

Acquisition of supplier Orgami Sistec in Germany. Orgami Sistec manufactures high standard fire- and burglary resistant safes and cabinets.

 
2006

The Themans group goes bankrupt in 2005. The Nauta Group acquires the door furniture division and carries out a succesful re-launch in 2006.

 
2005

Nauta Sign becomes independent through a management buyout.

 
2000

Participation from Nauta BV in Sikkerhetsgrossisten AS Norway.

 
1999

Acquisition of the key concept from wholesaler Burgman NV in Utrecht. Participation in Nauta Key Sec AB Sweden.

 
1998

The Nauta organization obtains the ISO certification which confirms the continuous quality throughout the company!

 
1997

EspƩ Nederland from Putten(NL), a wholesaler specialized in keys and master key systems is acquired and incorporated in Nauta BV.

 
1993

A double milestone! The company celebrates its 30th anniversary and the new up to date business premises at the Hanzeweg is taken in use. A third division is founded: Nauta Sign BV

 
1991

Foundation of the new division Nauta Security Storage to continue the commercial activities for Holland Safety Brandkasten BV.

Acquisition of Alfa Metaal BV and Holland Safety Brandkasten BV in Haarlem (NL)

In a joint venture with Canadian company Ilco Unican, Metl-Stick in England is acquired.

Acquisition of the Key Guard production in the Netherlands and business start-up for Benco Holland BV to continue the production.

Relocation to the new premises at the industrial area "De Harselaar" in Barneveld.

Acquisition of Berthold Neumann & Co, a key manufacturer from Velbert in Germany. The brand name BENCO is derived of the German company name.

Relocation to Voorthuizen, a big barn functions as warehouse, office and showroom.

The first foreign representation; JUWEL safes, key boxes and cash boxes from Italy. The JUWEL range has outgrown to be one of the bigger product ranges.

The first dealership is the representation for "TOL steel mailboxes", a Dutch manufacturer in Volendam

Relocation to Langbroek. Business takes place from the garage box next to the house.

September 23rd 1963 Sijne Nauta starts trading company "S. Nauta agenturen" in Gouda.
